Mother's Day/Springtime Giveaway!

Happy May 2nd everyone! I trust you all have your special Mother's Day gifts planned! I just wrapped mine up and will take it down to the post office this afternoon and send it off to mom! She's tough to buy for...she doesn't want anything really but I felt the need to buy her something and I'm sure she'll be pleased. Honestly, it's not nearly enough to thank her for all the love and support she's given through the years but I think she knows.

In honour of Mother's Day, Spring AND of my second blog "My Inspiration...My Heart" I am announcing another Giveaway!
I absolutely love giveaways and it's so fun to come up with something that will, hopefully, fill your heart with joy!

Meet "Rosebud"!






And this is what she would like to bring along with her to give to you!





"Rosebud" is a tiny teddy at only 3 1/2 inches! She's made of pretty yellow and pink velveteen and is fully jointed. This little darling is sitting in a sweet 3 3/4 inch tall vintage stemmed "fruit compote". I have another one which I use for lovely summer blooms! I'd like for you to have the other one! Included with this compote is a pretty butterfly pendant...a fitting touch to a garden themed disply don't you think?



In honour of my other blog, I am also including four notecards with envelopes which I've made using images of my own garden blooms. I love to work in the yard and these images are of flowers and cherry blossoms from the gardens I once tended at my former home on Vancouver Island. Each photo is printed on bright white "matte" finish photo paper and adhered onto pretty teal notecards. Perfect for writing a little note to someone special.



Okay, now for the fun stuff! As I said, I am having this blog giveaway, not only in honour of Spring and Mother's Day, but to "promote", if you will, my new blog "My Inspiration...My Heart".

It's very dear to my heart as it's a place where I can "show off" my children, my granddaughter and so on as well as do what I can to bring attention to "depression" and related mental illnesses.

As some of you already know, my beautiful daughter, Brandi, suffers from "depression" and as you've heard me say before, she has her good days and her bad. This blog is a place where she can go and get a little extra "support" whether it's a comment from someone who's been there or one meant to encourage her to move forward. I can't thank those of you, enough, who've taken the time to reach out to her through that blog.

In addition to feeling the love and support from the blog, Brandi, along with my daughter-in-law, Nancy are both fabulous photographers and the blog is also a place for them to unleash their creativity, something I am very proud of indeed! Both have sent me so many beautiful photographs that it's hard to organize and decide which ones to blog about first!!! For a peek at some of their gorgeous work, head over and check out the latest photos as well as past posts. I couldn't be prouder of my girls!
